2. How much does the 5-hour class cost?
$60
3. Can I take the 5-hour class with a temporary permit?
Unfortunately, you need to wait for the picture permit to arrive.
4. Do I need to take the 5-hour class?
Yes. The DMV requires the 5-hour Class to take a road test. However, If you’ve already taken driver’s education through a school, and you have a MV- 285, you do not need to take the 5-hour class.
DRIVING LESSONS AND PACKAGES
1. If I take a package that includes a regular road test and decide that I need a rush road test, can I add that to my package?
Sure. You would just add the rush fee.
2. What if I decide that I don’t need my whole package, can I get a refund on the amount I didn’t use?
You can undo your package at any time. You would only pay for the lessons used (at the standard rate) and we would refund the difference.
3. How much is each lesson after the package is used up?
Each post-package lesson is discounted at $70 per hour
4. When do I pay for my package?
Packages are paid for at the time of package selection.
5. Where do you offer driving lessons?
We provide driving lessons in the Boro Park, Kensington, Parkville, Midwood, Bensonhurst, and Marine Park areas of Brooklyn.rk areas.
6. How much are your driving lessons?
We have different lesson options. Check them out and see which one works best for you.
GETTING TO THE ROAD TEST
1. What do I need to bring with me to the road test?
You’ll need to bring your photo ID permit, 5-hour class certificate, or driver’s education completion certificate, and, if you’re under 18, an MV-262 50-hour driving form The person who brings you has to be a licensed driver over the age of 18 and should have their photo ID license, and the car’s registration and insurance cards. The car must also have a valid inspection sticker. The car does not have to be registered in New York. We are not responsible for any missing documentation on the day of your road test.
2. Can I drive myself to the road test?
No. You must have a licensed driver over the age of 18 drive you to the road test.
3. Whose car do I use on my road test?
The DMV does not provide vehicles for the road test. You will need to use a car from a friend, family member, or driving school.
RUSH ROAD TESTS
1. What’s your refund policy?
We only offer refunds if you have not yet been notified about a scheduled rush road test date. Once we notify you about a scheduled road test appointment, and the test confirmed and paid for, we do not offer a refund on your road test.
2. What if I’m not happy with the Rush Road Test you found me?
If for whatever reason you’re not happy with the rush road test appointment we scheduled you, we can, as a one-time courtesy, reschedule for another date. Please note, the 10-business days resets. Please let us know about any special scheduling needs at the time of your order to avoid having to reschedule.
3. Can I choose the location of my Rush Road Test?
Although we do try to accommodate specific requests ($129), we only guarantee rush road tests within a 30/15-mile radius of your location, depending on which of our road test options You choose.
4. Do I have to pay anything to the DMV?
If this is your first or second road test, then no. However, the DMV does charge $10 after every two tests you take. If you’ve already taken two tests, please go to the DMV site to pay the fee before ordering your rush road test. PLEASE NOTE: Cancelling a test within 3 days of a scheduled road test is considered by the DMV as if the test was taken vis-à-vis the $10 fee.
5. When do I pay for my Rush Road Test appointment?
Payment is only due once you are notified about the date and time of your test. After you are notified, payment is due by the end of the business day.
6. Does the fee include the vehicle rental for the test?
It does not. If you need a car, please inquire about availability, as our cars are often sold out.
7. How much will this cost me?
We have four different rush road test options, each with a different price. Check them out and decide which works best for you.
8. Is my Rush Road Test appointment scheduled right when I call?
One of our representatives will typically reach out to you within 1-2 business days.
9. What information is needed from me to schedule my road test?
When you contact us, we will take your name, phone number, permit number, date of birth, and ZIP code.
10. How quickly will I get my test?
Within 10, or even 5-business days, depending on which one of our road test options you choose.
11. I already have a road test scheduled, can I keep it as a backup while you look for my Rush Road Test?
Yes, you can. Once we find a slot that we think you may want, we will reach out to you and offer to make the switch for you. However, the DMV won’t allow one client to have two booked appointments at the same time.
